Rogers Gymnastics Booster Club
Our Purpose:
The purpose of the Rogers Gymnastics Booster Club is to provide support for the athletes and coaching staff of the RHS Girls Gymnastics Team. The Booster Club meets once per month October-April.
Booster Club Fees: The RGBC requests each family pay a booster club fee of $150 per athlete. This fee may vary each season based on anticipated costs of team activities. Booster fees help pay for the following items/activities: athlete’s banquet costs, sections sweatshirts, sections team dinner, flowers, team pasta dinners before home meets (reimbursement), special team events, and the holiday party.
While this fee is voluntary, if a family chooses not to contribute the fee they will lose voting privileges in booster club elections, and some of the athlete’s team items may need to be paid for directly by the family (ex: sections sweatshirt).
Volunteer Dibs:
Parent volunteers are needed throughout the gymnastics season for a variety of jobs--meet scoring, concessions, pasta dinners, invite/sections/JV conference, etc. The number of dibs a family will need to fulfill will depend on how many registered athletes there are each season, as well as if the team is hosting an invite, JV Conference, Sections and/or fundraisers where parent help/supervision is needed. The Booster Club requests a volunteer check for each athlete in the amount of $300 at the start of the season. If ALL dibs are fulfilled, the check will be returned or destroyed at the end of the season. Checks will only be cashed if families have less than the required dibs fulfilled.

Pasta: Prepare 5 pounds of noodles the night before. Noodles can be stored in a ziploc bag with a little olive oil. A warm roaster works well to serve the noodles
Sauce: We provide both white sauce and red sauce. Recommend (5) 15 oz. jars of alfredo and (2) 24 oz. jars of red sauce. Serve in crock pots.
Salad and Breadsticks: 1 large bag of pre-mixed salad. Please bring in serving bowl/container. 1 jar of dressing. Olive Garden Italian dressing is popular. 1 container of parmesan.* (6) 12 count bags of refrigerated breadsticks. Served warm. A roaster works well set on low.
Desert: Bring dessert of choice. Ex: Cookies, brownies, and lemon bars, etc. Bring cuties for those who don't want dessert.
*There are currently allergies to diary products on the team. If cheese can be set out separately from the salad, that would be preferred.
Fundraising Information:
Butter Braids: Athletes selling butter braids may use individual funds raised to offset warm-up jackets or warm-up leos (depends on year). All extra funds raised beyond apparel cost will go towards team expenses such as new equipment, team bonding events, etc.
Clothing Drive: The RGBC partners with the Epilepsy Foundation of MN to host a clothing drive each season. Gymnasts are expected to help work at the drop-off truck and help collect clothing items from friends and family. Funds raised help cover team expenses such as new equipment, team bonding events, etc.
Kwik Trip Car Wash Fundraiser: In February gymnasts have the opportunity to sell Kwik Trip Car Wash cards. Funds raised help cover team expenses such as new equipment, team bonding events, etc.
Youth Clinic: In January, the team will host kids ages 5-10 for two nights of gymnastics fun. On the third night, the participating youth will be invited to march in with the gymnasts and salut the crowd. Both the athletes and youth participating will receive a t-shirt provided by the booster club. All remaining funds raised will help cover team expenses such as new equipment, team bonding events, etc.
