A Look Ahead To The 2022-2023 Season!

As our season begins to approach, I wanted to share some early info with both new and returning athletes and families.

The first thing to note is our pre-season meeting will take place on October 26th in the RHS Media Center at 6:30pm. Here we will discuss team guidelines and requirements, fundraisers, booster club information, and important dates.

Things to note before our season begins »»
• If your athlete hasn’t had a physical in the past 3 seasons, a new one will be required for participation in our season and needs to be completed before they are allowed to practice and/or compete.

• We hold our athletes, coaches, and families a like to a standard, which can be learned more about in our Team Handbook.

• We do not perform try outs in an official capacity but do have a list of required skills to ensure the safety of both athletes & coaches. Those requirements are:
- Vault: Front Handspring or Half On.
Potentially required to compete: A twist in post-flight.
- Bars: Kip Mount, High Bar Kip, Flyaway Dismount.
Potentially required to compete: Uprise on high bar.
- Beam: Cartwheel, Front/Back Walkover on beam & Tucked Dismount
Potentially required to compete: Flight skill.
- Floor: Round Off Back Handspring Back Tuck & Front Handspring/Tuck
Potentially required to compete: Twisting skill.

Students will be required to find their own means of transportation to our off campus practices as the athletic bus would not reach our gym in a timely manner.

A note for returning athletes:

Our jackets will be ready for handing out at the pre-season meeting. If you could please send a payment of $85 to the Team Venmo that would be much appreciated!

As far as apparel goes, these jackets will be used for next two consecutive seasons at a minimum. Returning athletes will not need to purchase leggings or a warm up leotard this season to help save on costs there!
