Week 13 | January 31-February 5
Wow. What a phenomenal way to kick off the end of our season!
Rogers Gymnastics had competed as their own team at sections for the past 15 years and been a team all its own for the past 8, and for the first time in history, we got to hold a meet inside OUR home.
Thank you to each and every one of you for making this possible. The day went off without a hitch and was a huge success.
JV walked away with the WIN scoring a 125.7, and a team PB on vault with a 33.85!
Mya G was our All Around and Vault QUEEN as well as placing 4th on bars and beam and 7th on floor.
Maddie S was our Floor QUEEN as well as placing 2nd on Vault and 3rd on bars.
Other notable placements include Taylor S taking 3rd on Vault and Morgan R taking 4th. Erin J taking 6th on Beam. Sophie M taking 3rd on Floor.
Amidst a strong competition, Varsity secured their 4th place finish with their highest score team Floor score of the season, a 35.55 and a team total of 134.25.
Our All Arounder, Sadie Z, finished 8th. Gabby H took 6th on Vault, Katie S took 8th on Beam and Erin J took 7th on Floor.
The day was filled with many personal bests and memories that will last us many seasons to come! It was a great day to be a flippin’ royal 💙 👑
Tomorrow night we take on the Champlin Park Rebels at HOME in The Den. The march in will take place at 5:50pm so we can start the meet at 6 in order to have some extra time before tear down to celebrate our seniors!
We are hoping to PACK the den, so have your girls invite all their friends, as well as any family that is in the area to support our team at home.
The room where the coaches/judges were this weekend will be open after school until 4:00pm for the team to get ready together before our last dual meet of the season.
Reminder, all the girls will need to stay and help with tear down and all parents who signed up to help should plan to stick around until the equipment is loaded back onto the truck.
We wrap up the week at JV Conference where our undefeated JV team have a real shot at taking home the conference title! That will be at Osseo High School. March in for that meet will be 11am. We will be leaving from RHS at 7:45am.
